When a person acts deceitfully:

 

They have to try and cover it up, or,

 

They have to try and blame someone else, or

 

They have to try and rationalize it, or

 

Something else. AND

 

They lose the free and open access to God, and

 

They are judged to be untrustworthy, and

 

They are often avoided by decent people.

 

It’s so much easier to live uprightly, even if it’s unpopular. Make the right choice, and make it easier on yourself.
