On the basis of the resurrection to come, and on God’s complete sovereignty, I can confidently continue in His work, knowing that it will bear fruit. It cannot be otherwise. Note the key words:

“Stedfast” – Continue on in the work God has given you, knowing that His grace will always be more than enough (Colossians 1:29).

“Unmoveable” – As long as God wants you down here, you are indestructible (Romans 8:31).

“Abounding” – With this kind of confidence, why should I not abound in God’s work, pressing forward in it with all the strength He provides?

Christ’s resurrection changed everything. And He will fill us to overflowing until He calls us home.
