Eye Salve is a short devotional that Pastor Terry Fischer writes to challenge and encourage the saints of God. It is meant to be short and sweet and comes from his daily reading and prayer.
“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? 30Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.” Jeremiah 23:29-30
The word is like a fire, but the fire needs to burn so hot that it comes out of a man. It needs to burn so hot that a man cannot contain it. It needs to burn so hot that the bones can no longer keep it shut up. It makes it so you can’t shut up.
