The Scripture teaches us that the great prophet Elijah was just another man. There is no indication that he gained a great education before starting his prophetic ministry. He was not of royal background, and the Bible says nothing about him having great riches.

At some point, he just answered the call of God to proclaim, “As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand,” and “the word of the Lord.”

Do we get into the presence of God, seeking His heart and mind for the people around us? God surely has a word to speak to them. And we are the ones to speak that word.
