Abundant Life
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. – John 10:10
What Christ speaks of here is something the world cannot deliver.
When God blesses us, it comes without “baggage.” (Proverbs 10:22)
The abundance of the world brings toil, worry, hardship. Sooner or later, a life of worldly gain has to be gained or maintained by less than upright means.
Now that we are in the end times, now is not the time to be pursuing gain just for ourselves. (2 Kings 5:20-27)
The abundant life that Jesus offers is the abiding inner joy that comes from waiting on God to give you what He wants. God is good, and He knows exactly what will satisfy you, so this can do nothing but lead to a joyous life.
You will live life with a clear conscience, abiding inner peace, and no regrets. This kind of life will bear much fruit, bringing even more abundance to others, and abundant glory to God.
