Growing like a baby cow may not sound very appealing. But calves grow quickly, are soon able to walk on their own. And in the stall, they are well protected.

You definitely want to grow quickly in the knowledge of Christ. You want to get on with your maturity in the faith. You want to learn quickly how to take advantage of all the grace God makes available.

(Note: God wants this even more than you do!  See 1 Corinthians 2:12).

How does this happen? By fearing God, which means to continually remind ourselves that He is watching and noting every word, deed, and thought.

If Jesus were physically standing before you right now, what would change? Guess what? He’s right there.

Ask God to lead you into the fear of the Lord.
