“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
Upon salvation we have a desire to do good things. As we grow in the Lord, we come to that place where we learn to hear God’s voice. It is when we learn the voice of the Lord, that His specific will for our life becomes clearer. As we fulfill His will in our life, we become acceptable in God’s eyes. But this can be a place where many Christians want to remain at. The place of acceptability can become a rut, because it is from there that we are to move on to do His perfect will. We must spend time in prayer if we are going to know His perfect will for our lives. Then all that is left is to prove it.
