“and having done all, to stand.” Are we doing “all” to be able to stand in the day of trial or temptation?

God indeed intervenes when we cry to Him. But He did not structure the Christian life to be one cry for desperate help after another. He meant for us to live in consistent victory.

Ps 119:45 – liberty comes from seeking to know God’s Word

Joh 10:10 – Jesus wants us to live abundant, Spirit filled lives

Ga 5:1 – we are meant to plant our flag on the top of a hill called Liberty, and not to be knocked off of it.

Study the means of grace that are available to you as a Christian. As you learn how to use them, you will learn to stand strong in any situation.
