“Schoolmaster Part 2”

Wednesday Bible Study 08/14/2024-Brother Donny Muszynski

“Jesus fulfilled the law. He came on this earth and one of his major purposes was to fulfill the law. He was going to walk perfect. He was going to fulfill every command, everything that law said, he never broke that law once.”

This sermon explores the significance of the Mosaic Law and its fulfillment in Christ. It begins by examining the genealogy of Levi and the connection between the Levitical priesthood and the line of Christ through Aaron’s marriage. The sermon then emphasizes God’s holiness and judgments, illustrated through biblical examples like the death of Nadab and Abihu and Uzzah. It discusses the authority of Moses, as affirmed by Jesus, and the importance of the law as a schoolmaster leading to Christ. The sermon then focuses on how Jesus fulfilled the law in his life and death, culminating in the tearing of the temple veil. It concludes with a discussion on the New Covenant, exploring how love fulfills the law and addressing the balance between grace and holiness in Christian living. Throughout, the sermon underscores the continuing relevance of the Old Testament law for Christians today.
